I am a freelance writer, a youth mental health ambassador, a retail assistant and a full time university student

I love writing and working in the media, and I want to follow my dreams of working as a media person. I have already had some experience in the media as part of my volunteer experiences and ambassadorial roles for local not-for-profit organisation. YMCA ‘Y Chats’ Podcast

I was invited to sit down with Alana from YMCA WA to have a chat on a podcast about a heavy experience in my teenage years that shaped who I am today. This was an incredible experience for me and I thoroughly enjoyed working on a new platform.

‘Letter To Depression’ Campaign with Youth Focus

This was a campaign that I did with Youth Focus in May of 2018. It was part of a series of letters that ambassadors and young people wrote a letter to depression and was then shared on their website and social media platforms. If you click the image, you will be redirected to the Instagram post.
Rest assured, I am in a mentally healthy place and I use my story to help and encourage others.

Speeches and Public Speaking Engagements with Youth Focus

I have presented speeches to fairly large audiences for Youth Focus since becoming an ambassador for their NFP organisation in 2017. I have spoken in front of their stakeholders, prestigious supporters and political members, and of course Youth Focus’s devoted employees. I have thoroughly enjoyed all public speaking engagements, and speech writing is a style of writing I love and am entirely confident in.
